Mission/Business Overview

Founded in 2018, Genuine Hearts Treatment Clinic (GHTC or the company) began their journey as a multidisciplinary behavioral health care organization overseen and licensed by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals to provide Intensive Outpatient Substance Abuse Program (IOP) to adolescents and adults in Northwest Louisiana and the surrounding areas. 

Since that time, GHTC has revamped its limited services from an IOP to now encompass a larger population of the community.  GHTC now offers mental health and substance use counseling in many forms: individual counseling, family counseling, teen counseling, substance use counseling and couples counseling. 

GHTC’s primary mission is to offer quality community services by qualified personnel which promote change, identify individual and family strengths as well as empower individuals and families to improve daily functioning within the community, in relationships with others, at home, and at school. We accomplish this mission by linking with and building professional relationships with the appropriate referral sources and offering a continuum of care.

GHTC can successfully decrease the likelihood that the client would require more restrictive institutional treatment in mental and/or behavioral health facilities such as a group home or psychiatric hospital.
