Privacy Policy

The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission. Exceptions include the following:

• If suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse exists, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.

• If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.

• If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law to ensure their safety.

Payment Types

While we do accept cash patients, we also are in-network with a variety of insurance providers, such as Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Humana Commercial Plans, Aetna Commercial Plans, MultiPlan, UMR, and All Medicaid Plans (Louisiana Healthcare Connections, Aetna Better Health, Healthy Blue, AmeriHealth Caritas, United Healthcare, Humana Healthy Horizons). 

If you have an insurance plan, outside of Medicaid, you will need to contact your insurance company to find out what your out-of-pocket cost will be per session if applicable.
