Our 25-Hour LPC Supervisor Training equips licensed clinicians with the ethical, practical, and supervisory skills required to pursue the Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) credential.
This comprehensive training prepares clinicians to confidently supervise PLPCs while meeting Louisiana LPC Board expectations for ethical practice, cultural responsiveness, and legally sound supervision.
This training develops advanced clinical leadership skills in the following areas:
Supervision Foundations - Core models of supervision, supervisor roles, and responsibilities.
Ethics and Legal Responsibilities - Louisiana LPC Board rules, ethical decision-making, and supervision liability considerations.

This course is delivered live on Zoom in an interactive learning environment, participation is required and includes:
Instructor-led lecture with presentation slides
Case study analysis
Role play exercises
Structure: Three-day training
Total Instruction Time: 25 hoursParticipants must remain visibly present during the training.
Participants must be on time and present for all live training hours with video on in order to receive CE credit.

As a continuing education provider, we are required to provide participants with:

We are not required to provide written course materials, outlines, forms, or templates. However, we do share several helpful supervision resources during the training.
Participants should come prepared to:
Take their own notes during the training
Participate in the live instructional experience
Follow Louisiana LPC Board Rules and Regulations when creating and maintaining supervision documentation.

Do I need to be fully licensed to enroll?
Yes. Participants must hold an unrestricted provisional or fully licensed credential.I am located outside of Louisiana. Can I take this course?
Yes. This course is nationally approved for supervision training and may be accepted by licensing boards outside of Louisiana.
However, requirements for supervision credentials vary by state and profession. It is the licensee’s responsibility to verify eligibility with their respective licensing board.
If your licensing board accepts NBCC-approved continuing education, this course generally meets that requirement.
Is this course accepted by the Louisiana LPC Board?
Yes. The curriculum is designed around Louisiana LPC Board rules and supervision standards.Is this course approved by the Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA)?
Yes. We are an approved continuing education provider through the LCA.Is attendance required for CE credit?
Yes. Participants must attend all 25 hours live with video on to receive CE credit.I have an appointment during the training. Can I attend the appointment and still receive credit for this course?
No. Full attendance is required to receive credit for this training. If you have a conflicting appointment, you will need to reschedule it or register for a different training date.
Will I receive supervision tools I can use immediately?
Yes. Participants receive templates, forms, and case examples ready for immediate use but may want to personalize and edit materials.Do you offer the NCC/ACS 45-Hour national bridge option?
Yes. This training can be combined with an additional 20-hour bridge course for those pursuing national recognition. -
This training is approved for 25.0 continuing education (CE) clock hours, including:
21.5 hours — Supervision
1.25 hours — Ethics
1.0 hour — Telehealth
1.25 hours — Social and Cultural Foundations (Multiculturalism)
