Our 25-Hour LPC Supervisor Training equips licensed clinicians with the ethical, practical, and supervisory skills required to pursue the Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) credential.

This comprehensive training prepares clinicians to confidently supervise PLPCs while meeting Louisiana LPC Board expectations for ethical practice, cultural responsiveness, and legally sound supervision.

Training Format and Schedule

Format:

Live interactive training via Zoom
Structure: Three-day comprehensive training
Total Instruction Time: 25 hours

Participants must remain visibly present during the training.

Participants must be on time and present for all live training hours with video on in order to receive CE credit.

Continuing Education Approval

This training is approved for 25.0 continuing education (CE) clock hours, including:

  • 21.5 hours — Supervision

  • 1.25 hours — Ethics

  • 1.0 hour — Telehealth

  • 1.25 hours — Social and Cultural Foundations (Multiculturalism)

Approved by the Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA) as authorized by Louisiana Mental Health Law R.S. 37:1101–1123.

Training Disclaimer

As a continuing education provider, we are required to provide participants with:

  • The facilitator’s qualifications

  • A daily training agenda

  • A completion certificate for participants who meet course requirements

We are not required to provide written course materials, outlines, forms, or templates. However, we do share several helpful supervision resources during the training.

Participants should come prepared to:

  • Take their own notes during the training

  • Participate in the live instructional experience

  • Follow Louisiana LPC Board Rules and Regulations when creating and maintaining supervision documentation.

Yes. Participants must hold an unrestricted PLPC or LPC license in Louisiana.

Yes. We are an approved continuing education provider through the LCA.

Is attendance required for CE credit?
Yes. Participants must attend all 25 hours live with video on to receive CE credit.

Do you offer the NCC/ACS 45-Hour national bridge option?
Yes. This training can be combined with an additional 20-hour bridge course for those pursuing national recognition.
